Is an encounter a psychometric echo or a haunting?
Loosely defined, psychometry or clairempathy is the "reception" of emotions, events, or people who have owned or used the object that have imprinted onto an object or place. This often involves retrocognition.
Psychometric Echo, as I define it, is an encounter with event or manifestation that shows repetitive occurrences.
Example of this imprint: A man paces a room, everyday, in the same pattern, approximately the same time of day, for hours, over the years, imprints his energies and thoughts into this behavioral pattern. Basically, energizing this pathway and creating point of energy that contains this pattern of behavior and thought.After he passes, it is experienced that he is seen walking in the same pattern, approximately the same time periods, in the same behavior.
Thus creating my question:
Is this a psychometric echo or a haunting?

'a haunting' is an umbrella word for a very intigrate subject. You are describing when you use the term 'psychometric echo' part of the subject matter which is a haunting. However what you have described has also been known for years as inprinting.
The bigger fish is why does this happen, 'A man paces a room, everyday, in the same pattern, approximately the same time of day, for hours, over the years, imprints his energies and thoughts into this behavioral pattern' is a theory, but has yet to be proven. I have some across something similar to this but was able to find the key to the disturbance which was due largely to sound. However seeing a manifestiation is quite another thing.

That would be the curiosity... seeing the repetitive manifestation. Unaltered, repetitive presention. Would it be an imprint? That is the question. The entity is experienced in other locations, somewhat interactively. However, this imprint - allow the liberty- is never interactive.
I plan to do some EVP & photography of the same location this week. (My first attempt ever at the process of EVP, so I'm trying not to get any hopes up.) The entity is said to present as full to partial form and sing or speak to people- particularly if they are alone.
I know she manifest in the lower level of the same building because that's where I kept encountering her. However, the building is secured at the encounter hours and they usually kick me out before that time now.
On a separate note:
Then it will be off to a friend's home by week's end (weather willing)- to try some more EVP and photography as well. This situation is curious and I wish I had more input from more experienced people on this one.
